Stairway to h(e)aven

The stairway to h(e)aven.

Decided to post some work in progress of my fanart of Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto from BLEACH anime/manga.
Had and having a lot of fun exploring what the bleach character would look like realistically. I tried to stay authentic to the Mangakas (Tite Kubo) character designs. Was an interesting challenge since I had the manga and anime as references, had to use my knowledge of anatomy and a collage of old people to get the look right. Also took the opportunity to learn Blender and its hair particle system.
